Due to open end 2008, Shangri-La’s Phuket Resort and Spa complements the hotel group's new wave of upcoming deluxe resort properties, positioned in key locations worldwide. Located on 20 hectares of prime beachfront land, the luxury Phuket Resort and Spa will be set amidst lagoons, gardens and a natural river. Designed by Arcadia Design Architects, the 315-key resort will comprise 223 rooms and 92 guest villas, with 50 residential pool villas to be released for private sale.
As an integral part of this spectacular resort, every residential villa will be expertly managed by the Shangri-La brand, affording true ease and peace of mind. As a villa owner, you will enjoy an exclusive Shangri-La resort lifestyle with VIP access to all hotel facilities, including:

Durham Holdings (Thailand) Limited is an affiliated company of PT Jan Darmadi Investindo. The company secured Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as the manager and operator of the new luxury Shangri-La’s Phuket Resort and Spa.

Concept and Design
Shangri-La’s Phuket Resort and Spa exhibits the design, service, expert management, breathtaking landscaping and prime location that make Shangri-La an award-winning luxury hotel brand.
Arcadia Design Architects, of Huelva, Spain, were enlisted to design the ultimate holiday destination. Arcadia’s experienced team have created two different types of villa, allowing owners to select the layout that best suits their style.
Moreover, as a reflection of Shangri-La’s commitment to the environment, the entire development has been designed in an environmentally-aware manner, employing energy-saving technologies and eco-friendly engineering systems.
The master plan includes 17 Type A villas and 33 Type B villas, which are released for private sale through international property consultants CB Richard Ellis (Thailand).
The Villas
The private residential villas are spread across one half of the sprawling resort and spa estate, and are an integral luxury component of the project.
The 50 units comprise 17 Type A villas and 33 Type B villas, referring to two basic layout patterns. Both villa types are situated either around a lagoon or amidst a landscaped tropical garden. Sumptuous interiors by GA Design offer full facilities:
